Cafe Azure is taking shape! - 19/05/08
The existing toilets and kitchen area are now demolished. A temporary kitchen has been erected to ensure we can run a quality, although limited coffee shop service. The existing Coffee Shop seating area is also unavailable so we have moved some of this to the shop floor. Toilets have been relocated to the rear of the Garden Centre (Ladies) and temporary portaloo building to the front (Ladies & Gents).
As you may have seen from the Garden Centre Car Park or from Station Road the timber frame construction of Cafe Azure is in its advanced stage (see photos below). We endeavor to keep our Garden Centre and Coffee Shop running with the minimum of inconvenience to you. Thanks go out to all of the Azure Garden Centre employees who through their hard work have been instrumental in keeping our services "business as usual".
Update on Main Points
- The construction of the main timber frame and roof is completed.
- Main toilets and existing kitchen are now demolished.
- Temporary kitchen and toilets facilities in operation.
- New Kitchen has been installed and is funtional.
- New Toilets are constructed and now operational.
- Underfloor Heating is installed.
